Loch Tay Highland Lodges Review
When it comes to family-friendly lodging in Scotland, Loch Tay Highland Lodges should be on the top of your list. Recently, we had the pleasure of staying at one of their lodges, and it’s safe to say we had an unforgettable experience.
Scandinavian built holiday lodges with hot tubs & “Award Winning” glamping accommodations are situated in the central highlands of Scotland, on the shores of Loch Tay. We are based within Perthshire, one of the most beautiful areas of Scotland; surrounded by mountains, lochs, rivers, and within easy driving distance of Edinburgh, Stirling, and Glasgow.
The lodges themselves are modern, clean, and with all the comforts one could ask for. We arrived to find a cozy and beautifully decorated lodge equipped with everything we needed to make ourselves at home. The lodge we stayed in also had a private hot tub, which made the experience all the more appealing. As the night wore on, we spent countless hours relaxing in the hot tub while gazing at the stars, and it was pure magic.
If you’re looking for something more than just relaxation, Loch Tay Highland Lodges has you covered. There are a wide variety of activities you can opt for, including kayaking, archery, and mountain biking trails. And if you’re not one for adventure, Loch Tay Highland Lodges has a lot to offer in terms of relaxation and entertainment. There are plenty of scenic walks and treks around the local area, so you can take a leisurely stroll while enjoying the breathtaking views.
The scenery alone is worth mentioning. The area surrounding Loch Tay Highland Lodges is breathtaking – with rolling hills and glistening waters, you’ll feel at one with nature in no time. And when you’re ready for something with a bit more, you can pop into the nearby village of Killin. This charming Scottish town is steeped in history and provides an excellent opportunity to sample traditional Scottish cuisine and enjoy the local hospitality.
We opted for a self-catering option for our stay, but there’s also an on-site restaurant called The Boathouse that you simply must try out. They serve up delicious, fresh meals that perfectly complement the stunning scenery and ambiance.
Overall, Loch Tay Highland Lodges is a fantastic option for families, couples, and solo travellers alike. With its wide array of activities and prime location, you’re sure to have a memorable experience. Whether you’re looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life or crave outdoor adventures, Loch Tay Highland Lodges has got you covered!
