Online courses launch to help children build confidence and help them deal with emotions during
these challenging times.
Role Models are offering online life skills courses helping children develop resilience and confidence.
The courses aim to help children deal with anxiety, feel confident in the face of new challenges and
develop empathy and emotional awareness.
The Character Education Team at Role Models, led by Louise Treherne, have developed customised
online content to support children aged 6-11. These fun and interactive courses are led by
inspirational teachers in small groups of 8 on a conference call software Zoom.
Developed specifically for 6-7 year olds, the ‘Brilliant Me’ courses use stories, creative activities and
games to help children discover just how brilliant they are! The sessions, which run each weekday,
explore ideas such as; different ways to show confidence, being awesome, finding my big voice,
developing a can-do attitude, the power of yet and dealing with unhelpful thoughts.
For the 8-11-year-olds, the team focusses on building resilience and creative problem solving.
Sessions’ content includes: building a growth mindset, dealing with mistakes, the power of our
thoughts, problem solving steps, innovation and critical thinking.
Role Models have been providing Life Skills education since 2014 in prominent schools across the UK and overseas. They have moved their offer online to support parents and children worldwide in
these new and uncertain times.
Each online session is followed up with an offline activity that the children can do independently to keep them entertained and engaged in the topic of the day.
More details and course bookings are available now through the Role Models website.
They are currently offering a 25% discount on all online courses using the code ‘ONLINE25.’
Recent testimonials have shown how engaging and enjoyable these courses have been.
“Today’s session was absolutely brilliant! You kept my 6-year-old son totally engaged and interactive
the whole time – he was absolutely engrossed. He has been a nightmare to ‘home school’ this week
but as you ended the session today, he asked for more! Great work!! Thank you!”
