Fantastic Females – Michelle Johnston founder of Dressado

I’m Michelle Johnston, business owner of www.dressado.ie with 4 kids.I was at home one day looking through google for some inspiration for clothes when I realised most where all very similar and I wasn’t happy that I could only wear ‘Yellow’ to be in season and thought, there must be loads of girls feel the same or just don’t suit yellow, the clothes where a sea of yellow whereas I wanted something less bright.

I decided, you know what, I’m going to give me and other ladies out there what THEY want, not what they’re told to want, that’s when I set up Dressado, for OUR uniqueness. Also at the time I was out of work with 4 kids, so was a good opton to work from home.I originally started ordering from China when I noticed a lot of the clothing was throwaway.

Customers feedback wasn’t great, you wanted quality not quantity, so decided to go for a European brand for their unique style and quality products. Nothing worse than receiving a dress that’s see through or wrong sizing and fit, right?

I know you ladies must feel the same, you want your order through knowing it’s right, not wondering, Is it going to be a hit or miss dress? The purpose of the Dressado brand is to make you feel unique, with quality products and you feeling beautiful within yourselves.

Dressado IS Quality Clothes for your Unique Style. Your feedback is always imperative on our brand because you are what matters 💞

How did you balance being a mother and professional?

I mostly worked when kids were in school, at these times it’s mostly when they’re in bed, late night shifts for me
