Lemon Drizzle Cake

Ingredients:

  1. 200g softened unsalted butter
  2. 200g caster sugar
  3. 4 large eggs

  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared tin and bake for 45-50 minutes until a skewer inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. While the cake is still warm, mix together the granulated sugar and lemon juice, then pour this over the cake.
  7. Leave the cake to cool in the tin, allowing the drizzle to soak in.
